Authorpreneur: How to Build A Business Around Your Book by Nina Amir
If you have absolutely no entrepreneurial experience and a significant amount of technical experience, then this book might be good. However, all the resources the author cites are mostly expensive, paid resources which will do little to help an author’s bottom line when there are much cheaper and far easier ways to accomplish the same goals. If, like me, you have entrepreneurial experience and have been doing many of these things already, then this book is a skimmable, high-level overview that will not provide anything useful. If you are a beginner, then this book is sure to frustrate, overwhelm, and not be the kind of hand-holding guides that many require.
