You want to be heard. Everyone does. It’s natural and perfectly normal. And yet, in the online world the only way we have to track whether we’re heard or not is our engagement numbers.
How many opens does each issue of our newsletter receive? … How many clicks? … How many times is it forwarded and how many people unsubscribe?
How many people…heard us?
That’s the real question, isn’t it? How many people heard us? We’d like to think that every single subscriber on our newsletter did indeed hear us. Except we know that’s not the truth. The open rate stares us in the face telling us exactly how many people heard us. We might have good rates, but let’s face it, we want more.
